Inside the TIPS4HIPS Academy you can find live Zoom classes and workshops, drills and tips, conditioning, technique and choreography classes, lessons of invited artists, exclusive lectures and talks, festival reviews, interviews and much more. Regularly enriched with new lessons, your dance journey here remains exciting and dynamic. Not to mention the extensive dance tutorial library at your disposal.
We will not teach you to be an ideal dancer — we will help you become a unique one.

Welcome to the Drum Solo Season
This season is dedicated to drum solo improvisation.
Structured. Precise. Consistent.
This is not a motivational challenge.
This is training.
Over two months, you will work on technique, musical awareness, rhythm recognition, and real-time reaction to live drum.
The goal is not to collect combinations, but to build a clear improvisation logic for drum solo.
You will train with drills, tasks, rhythm labs, live drum sessions, and a workbook designed to track real progress.

Our guest teacher
Nicolas Kirlis
Nicolas Kirlis is a renowned master, composer, and producer of Arabic music from Argentina. The son of the legendary musician Mario Kirlis, Nicolas began his musical journey under his father’s guidance.
A versatile artist, he excels in playing the piano, keyboard, lute, derbake, and daff. He leads the prestigious NK Nicolas Kirlis Orchestra, performing widely acclaimed concerts and collaborating with dancers and singers in international festivals and tours.
